US Presidential Election 2024 Date, USA President Candidates List
Everyone is waiting for the US Presidential Election 2024, which will be on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. There is a list of sixteen people—10 Republicans, four Democrats, and two independent candidates—who will be voted for president in 2024.
As we know, there will be an interesting competition between the same two men who faced off in 2020: President Biden and former President Donald J. Trump.
On the other hand, Dean Phillips, Democrat of Minnesota, announced a challenge to President Biden, and Larry Elder dropped out of the Republican race.
Despite facing nine Republican opponents, Mr. Trump maintains a substantial lead over all of them in the polls. This is partly due to the fractured nature of the Republican field, which makes it challenging for voters to unite around a single alternative candidate.
Additionally, Mr. Trump’s continued strong influence over the party’s base contributes to his front-runner status. In fact, only eight candidates, besides Mr. Trump, managed to meet the minimum requirement of 1 percent support in a sufficient number of polls to secure a spot in the initial debate.
Conversely, in the Democratic camp, Mr. Biden encounters only two unlikely contenders for the nomination.

USA President 2024 Candidates List
As of today, the following candidates have announced their candidacy for the 2024 United States presidential election: There is a list of sixteen people—10 Republicans, four Democrats, and two independent candidates—who will be voted for president in 2024.
Here is a list of Democratic Party candidates:
Joe Biden
Joe Biden is the current and 46th President of the United States. Joe Biden served as the 47th vice president from 2009 to 2017 under President Barack Obama after a long career representing Delaware in the U.S. Senate from 1973 to 2009.
President Joe Biden is known for promoting democracy and unity after the Trump administration. His re-election campaign will highlight achievements in fostering bipartisanship, including passing a major infrastructure bill and supporting key Democratic initiatives like abortion rights, despite Republican opposition.
Notably, President Biden’s re-election bid makes him the oldest person to assume the presidency, which concerns some in the Democratic Party. However, the party has publicly supported his candidacy.
Marianne Williamson
Marianne Williamson is an American author, speaker, humanitarian, and presidential candidate for the 2024 Presidential Election.
Marianne Williamson, a familiar face in the world of self-help literature and former spiritual guide to Oprah Winfrey, has recently thrown her hat into the ring for a second time.
Back in 2020, during her previous campaign, Williamson advocated for the creation of a federal Department of Peace. She also fervently championed reparations as a means of addressing the deep-seated wounds of slavery, while offering a unique perspective that characterized Trumpism as a symptom of a more profound societal affliction, one that transcends the realm of politics and governance. Moreover, she has openly endorsed certain medical theories, particularly in the domain of mental health, that have faced significant skepticism and have been debunked by many in the scientific community.
Cenk Uygur
Cenk Uygur is a Turkish-American political commentator, media host, and presidential candidate for the 2024 US presidential election. Currently, he is blocked from the N.H. presidential primary ballot.
Cenk Uygur, the mind behind The Young Turks, a progressive talk show, has expressed a lack of “significant policy disparities with Biden.” His primary concerns centre around a higher minimum wage, the implementation of a public health insurance option, and the establishment of paid family leave, all of which align with Mr Biden’s stance but have encountered congressional obstacles. Despite these shared policy goals, Uygur contends that Mr. Biden’s chances of winning the general election are slim.
It’s important to note that Mr. Uygur’s background includes being born in Turkey, which introduces a unique challenge to his candidacy. He argues that the constitutional requirement mandating the president to be a “natural-born citizen” infringes upon the Fifth Amendment. In 2020, he ran for a congressional seat in a special election in California, though he finished in fourth place with a mere 6.5 per cent of the total vote.
Dean Phillips
Dean Phillips is an American businessman and politician who has served as the U.S. representative from Minnesota’s 3rd congressional district since 2019 and the presidential candidate for the 2024 US presidential election.
Dean Phillips, a moderate Democrat, joined the House of Representatives in 2018. He shares broad policy alignment with President Biden and consistently backs the president’s legislative agenda. However, Phillips believes that factors such as the president’s age and his somewhat lacklustre approval ratings warrant the Democratic Party’s exploration of alternative nominee options.
Notably, Phillips is part of a family with roots in a Minnesota liquor business and formerly chaired the Talenti Gelato Company. His decision to step down from a leadership role within the Democratic House caucus stemmed from his contemplation of a potential presidential run, a choice that defied the preferences of many party-elected officials.

He is the presidential candidate for the 2024 US presidential election.
Mike Pence
Mike Pence, the former governor of Indiana, underwent a significant shift in his role, transitioning from a deeply loyal vice president to Donald J. Trump to becoming the target of anger from Trump supporters on January 6, 2021. This shift in sentiment was prompted by Pence’s decision not to support efforts to overturn the 2020 election results. He is the presidential candidate for the 2024 US presidential election.

Over the years, he has collaborated with Donald Trump, briefly leading his presidential transition team in 2016 and assisting with debate preparations in 2020. However, in a notable transformation, he has repositioned himself as one of the most outspoken Republican critics of Mr. Trump. He is the presidential candidate for the 2024 US presidential election.
